Our course

Global warming is problem that I don’t hear before this course and really our projects for this course help me to know and to see what our life will be and what we done from damage to this planet and Allah will ask us about it and we should do something to stop this. Some people they believe that in Middle East there are no global warming but however there thing is wrong because the effect will touch every countries even some of middle east country the use old cars and there population so high and that is one of the courses of global warming. Also I see that many countries try to help to avoid from these problem like UAE will make msdar city which is good city to help to stop from rising in CO2 even that footprint project we do help us to know how much we are sharing to destroyed our planet and let me see what kind of solution can we do to reduce it’s want to thanks our teacher that really all subjects for this project not only for study but is also good for us to know something that may most of us don’t know about it before.

"An Inconvenient truth" Evalution

I think this movie is really nice one and I like movies so much but this movie is about us. It’s not an action movie or romantic it’s about our life. I think is giving me many facts about our planet I don’t about it before and show us how are in danger because many activities that we do and it’s heart our planet without any care from us. The” An Inconvenient truth” movies try to send a massage to every one that your life in danger you must do something and how much this global warming will cost us and our next generation.

I thing also Al Gore give us some of fact in his life and that make the movie interesting and when he move from the main subject of the movie to his personal life will attract the watcher. I believe his massage so clear and Al Gore support his movie with many facts and detail that let me rally believe that I fear from the future and keep me thinking how our children will live in this kind of planet with all of this dangerous will come to planet.

"An Inconvenient truth" Summary

In a movies which tell us how our life and our children will be in dangerous Al Gore present big problem in 2006 film “An Inconvenient truth”. Show us our plant from past to now and even what will be in future if we don’t stop this problem which is responsibility for everyone in this world which is Global Warming.

He talk about how the CO2 keep rising and even the tampture with this global warming will rise and that will cause several problem such as the level of the see will goes up because the ice polar will melt. The climate will change and will have more twisters and other dangerous changes will happen. He shows some fact about many palaces which is before cover with ice and now this ice is gone and that will cause many that places which people take there water from this ice will make another human problem.

He shows some part from his life and how his sister died because she was smoker. He always tried to meet people around the world and tell them about global warming and his hope when he try to be US president to solve this problem which he thing should have more attention from all countries He also says some solution to reduce this global warming.

In conclusion Al Gore think that problem is not easy thing that no body care about it and he believe that all people around the world not only the govrments care and do the best to stop global warming to keep our planet save because there are no other planet for us if we lose it.

TDIC projects

My partner Omar Al Ameri and I was make a research for one of the TDIC project in Abu Dhabi it’s Grand Corniche Hotel. It’s will make by Bin Salem group and TDIC and it will cost around $100 million and it will finish in 2009 that mean next year. The hotel really has nice design and many facilities.

However I like the Shangri la project more than any TDIC project because several thing. One of these things is I know from my visited to same hotel but in Dubai that give me a small picture how this new Shangri la will be? Another thing that the location of Shangri la hotel will make it one of the best hotels because it really not so far from the air port it need only 10 minute to reach it. Last thing that I will say that the facilities in this hotels is amazing and I really like that information that you can have your own pool that mean privet pool and this is really nice thing I liked because I don’t like to some with other people.

But there is also a project that I don’t like it and I thing it’s not so good project. Project will be in Liwa which is Qser Al Srab. It’s so far from Abu Dhabi you need more than 2 hours to reach it. Another thing it’s in the desert and no shopping mall there even no parks or other thing that you can find in a city. Last thing is the design is not so modern and I thing even it doesn’t has many facilities that most hotels have it.

I know that the TDIC projects it so many in Abu Dhabi and the will do many hotels in our city but some of them good and some of them I thing the location of them not so good. Abu Dhabi in few years will be the nice station for Tourism and that will help to make it one of the famous cities in the world. I thing the TDIC in general make a good job really there most hotels design is very nice and amazing.

Cool City

Good adaptations:
1.The tars portion will use in cool city will be very helpful to reduce the CO2 which help to stop one of the causes of global warming and the transpiration will be hybrid car or solar ship.

2.The roofs that cover the walkway in the city will keep the people save from bad sunlight.

Bad adaptations:
1.This kind of city will cost too much and it’s not easy to build it especially in the gulf.

2.The solar energy that which will use in city it’s will not be so powerful like as we know oil and even today we hear about solar car and other machine that work with solar energy not so good like which work in oil.

3.The kind of transpiration in the city will be very expansive as I know the price of hybrid car even from normal company will cost such as a big luxury car and not easy to any one have it so this city will be only for rich people.

My carbon footprint

The earth is place that every single person responsible to protect it from any thing that will destroyed it. The human is who make many activities in his life and he doesn’t know that he make a mistake. From how much we using electricity and food and another thing will affect the carbon dioxide around the earth and all these call footprint carbon. I check my footprint in the earth by using this site http://www.footprint.org.uk/ and my footprint is 3.39 which mean it’s above the UK average. My score divide in four section like for food 20%, travel 25%, home 17% the last one is stuff and is the highest one in 38%.

My problem I eat a lot of meat in a week I actually eat meat every day. Another thing that makes my footprint is high because I travel so much I am going every week to Dubai and maybe everyday in weekend I go to Dubai and that will make me use the car a lot last problem I have it’s that I spend a lot of money to buy stuff like perfume and other electricity staff.

So there are many solutions I can do to reduce this amount of carbon dioxide. One of these solutions is that I should reduce the amount of eating meat to two or three time per week. Another thing that really help should only use my car when it necessary. Last thing I can do that I must by only thing that I really need it not every thing and as we know not every thing you want you must have it.

In conclusion we know that is a part from many reason that cause global warming and it’s a part that from people to do to help to stop this problem before we lose our planet and when it so late to do any thing to stop it.

summary of critical thinking

Critical thinking is that thing have no limit and no board to stop in it something like fly in space and everybody can be a critical thinker doctor , parents, lawyers and teachers can use the critical thinking in there jobs and there life. The critical thing can help person to do and have good result in his all life and the critical thinking can willing to examine him self and have open mind to solve problems by different ways and listen to any body and before say any thing look to the evidence and share the idea with other so all these will help any one to become a critical thinking. So e we need a critical thinkers because they look always for batter thing for there job and there country.

There is a hierarchical classification of the levels of thinking called "BLOOM'S TAXONOMY" and they are six level, evaluation, synthesis, analysis, application, comprehension and knowledge and each of them have a different definition like evaluation mean rating or grading or assaying. The synthesis means recreating and putting back together in different way. The analysis means examining and taking part then application and it mean using knowledge to solve problems. The comprehension means understanding and interpreting. Last one is knowledge means naming and recalling.
